Database Synchronization Tool
In a perfect world databases are all on the internet, there is a master database and a backup system. Unfortunately since we don't live in a perfect world, there are scenarios that we must develop custom solutions for. In this scenario two of the kiosks that holsted the software do not have the ability to connect to a network or internet because of physical location limitations and other barriers.

As you can see in this image, the setup initially meant that there were 6 duplicate databases, of each database making 12 total. This was extremely hard for management of the system, especially if updates are done regularly. Instead DCOM Productions designed a utility that would allow any person to download a copy of the master database from the internet, run the same utility on each of the kiosks, and it would do the update automatically from a file saved to a portable device such as a flash drive. This was still too unmanageable though, but finally DCOM Productions was able to get all but one kiosk connected to the internet and this was the end result. The tool is still used today to update the databases on the one kiosk that is not connected to a network.

Indexing Import Tool
Nothing too special, but takes the Excel spreadsheet of over 5000 names, and allows an easy import of new items into the database. This automates the process of having to add individuals to the database using the editor, manually.

Medal of Honor Database Editor
Used primarily by the Medal of Honor Foundation, this tool allows administration of the Medal of Honor database.

Veteran Bridge Database Editor
Used primarily by the HARP Foundation, this tool allows administration of the Veteran Bridge database, and those who submitted their information to be a part of the memorial that was built in the walkway of the bridge itself.
